This gorgeous lemon dessert is a showstopper at any affair! It does take some time to prepare and assemble but the process is really easy and the results are so out of this world that it’s worth every bit of effort!
Bake this heavenly lemon pound cake and cut it into cubes. Layer the cubed cake at the bottom of a glass trifle bowl. Layers of rich yellow lemon cream and snow white whip cream follow, interspersed with more layers of cubed lemon pound cake. Decorate the top with whip cream flowers or shaved white chocolate and don't forget to top with fresh lemon slices. Yummm!
If you are in a pinch and don't have time to bake, head over to your nearest bakery and pick up a lemon or vanilla pound cake instead! It will work just as well. 🙂
